He CR- Model

In helium plasma, the collisional radiative model has been developed by T. Fujimoto and M. Goto. In this website, He CR-Model (Helium Collisional-Radiative Model) is based on Goto's paper [1].

Formulation I :

When quasi-steady-state approximation is valid for all states except for ground state and two metastable states, population of excited state p is expressed by





R₁, R₂, R₃ : ionizing plasma coefficient
R₀ : recombining plasma coefficient

Formulation II:

When quasi-steady-state approximation is applied to all excited states except ground state, population of excited state p is given by





R₁ : ionizing plasma coefficient
R₀ : recombining plasma coefficient
